Why do these bags have handles?

Two reasons. You can tie the handles shut for a fast, sealed package, no fumbling a knot with cold fingers. And once it's tied, you can loop it over your wrist or hook a finger through it, so your hands stay free for the leash on the walk home.

How long are these, and why does it matter?

Sixteen inches from the tip of the handle to the bottom of the bag. The extra length keeps your hand a good distance from the package the whole walk, and gives you room to collect even a big pile without things getting close.

How are these different from your standard poop bags?

These bags are longer and have tie-handles for easy tying and carrying. They come on small rolls of 12 bags that fit standard poop-bag dispensers. Our standard bags have no handles and come on rolls of 15. Pick the format that suits your walks.

Should I trust a “biodegradable” claim?

“Biodegradable” alone doesn’t tell you how quickly, under what conditions or to what extent a bag will biodegrade. Ask for the evidence, test conditions and disposal instructions. A word on a box isn’t the whole story.

Are they strong enough for big dogs?

Built thick and tested on Great Danes, Mastiffs, and multi-dog walks. The neck is long enough to tie even with gloves on. Won't tear, won't leak.
