Why is the brand called GIVE A SH!T®?
Because it's the truest thing we could say. We give a sh!t about rescue dogs. We give a sh!t about microplastics that outlive your kids. The name says it out loud so no one has to guess.
Who runs this?
Curtis and Katie started it in 2018. Lee joined later as co-CEO. Antonella joined as community superstar. Jodie, Curtis' sister, joined too. The team's grown since. Still family-run.
How does buying actually feed rescue animals?
10% of all profit goes to the Soi Dog Foundation. They rescue strays from abuse, neglect, and street life across Thailand and beyond. $20,000 donated so far. Target: feed 100,000 rescue animals by 2030. (Live counter higher up. Full breakdown on our Rescues page)

What certifications does the company hold?
Our bags have two compostable certifications covering three standards:
🌱 TÜV Austria OK compost HOME for our bags. Meets the NF T 51-800 home composting standard. (Breaks down in your backyard compost.)
🌱 TÜV Austria OK compost INDUSTRIAL for our bags. Meets EN 13432 (Europe) and ASTM D6400 (US). (Breaks down in industrial facilities.)
Our wipes use VEOCEL™ lyocell fibers from Lenzing. They carry:
🌱 FSC certification with chain of custody verified to our finished pack (the FSC logo's on every box).
🌱 TÜV Austria compostability certifications at the fiber level.
👩⚕️ Veterinarian-certified ingredients list.

How do I know your "earth-friendly" claims aren't greenwashing?
Because we don't say "eco-friendly." We say compostable, plant-based, and FSC-sourced. We name the certifying body for every claim:

🌱 Plant-based fibers: VEOCEL™ lyocell from Lenzing
🌱 Responsibly sourced wood: FSC chain of custody on the wipe pack
If a claim isn't third-party verified, we don't make it. Skeptic? Good. We're built for skeptics.
Where are your products made?
Designed in New Zealand. Made in China and the United States. We pick manufacturing partners by who builds the product right, not by which country has the nicest postcode.
Our Chinese partners hold every relevant certification, pay fair wages, and several run on solar power with closed-loop water systems. That's the bar. If a factory can't clear it, we don't use it.
Why some products in China? Because keeping our prices accessible matters more than printing "Made in USA" on every box. Most rescue advocates can't pay luxury prices to do the right thing. That's the trade-off we made. We're not hiding it.
Do I get auto-enrolled in a subscription if I order?
No. Subscriptions are opt-in only. If you select "Subscribe and save" you'll see exactly what you're agreeing to. If you order one-time, you're one-time. You can cancel anytime from your account.
