Hi Sherri, thank you for your question! While Dr Teal’s body washes are loved by many people, it’s generally not recommended to use human body washes on dogs. Dogs have a different skin pH balance than humans, and using a product formulated for human skin can potentially cause irritation or dryness in your pet. It’s always best to use a shampoo or body wash specifically formulated for dogs to ensure their skin and coat remain healthy. If you’re in doubt, it’s always a good idea to consult with your veterinarian for the best advice on products to use on your furry friend. 🐾

Hi Donna, thanks for your message. You’re right! We put garlic powder in one of our carrot recipes and that’s not ok. I just corrected it! Regarding broth, you should use dog broth. You can find brands that don’t use onion, garlic nor hydrolyzed yeast.

I love your blog! However, there is some conflicting info regarding recipe ingredients. In carrot recipe, you say to use garlic powder..but in other parts of blog..say never use garlic or onion in any form. Another recipe, you say to use low sodium broth, however, most broths are made with onion, garlic and hydrolyzed yeast. Just thought you might want to know so as to not cause confusion to your readers. 😊🌻
